O just created my feedburner account and burned my feeds. I also installed the FD FeedBurner plugin.
I never used this service before so I am quite curious as to what will happen 🙂

Dropping delphipages
June 18th, 2009I just closed my delphipages tab. I kept it open for quite a few years andduring the past year mostly just to see if there is a quick issue I can post on; and that only rarely.
Basically, this means that I officialy stop contributing on the new delphi pages site. Maybe I’ll do it on the the “clone” that is to be launched soon.

Forum to blog migration problems
June 17th, 2009As you probablynoticed, I migrated my blog from the phpbb forum to smf forum and then to wordpress blog platform. This migration caused several problems, amongst which the most important is that some permalinks got corrupted anduntil now returned 404.
I manually fixed most or all of them, but if you still find one, just let me know 😉
Oh, and the otehr problem is attachments. I’ll try to get this one fixed ASAP.

DelphiPages.com sold
June 15th, 2009I forgot to mention this, but a little while ago, more exactly 6 days ago I received an email from the previous owner informing us that the site was sold. The new owners changed the forum and site software to something vbulletin-like. Obviously all our points got lost in the move which kind of upset some of us experts there.
Anywaht, long story short I will probably not be activating on the new DP anymore. Also, a few of the guys over there are thinking to start a new delphipages-like community so … looking forward to it 🙂

Changes in site layout
June 13th, 2009I made a few changes in the site layout as follows:
– added main menu, containing the various main corners of the site
– added vertical menu for the various sections of the site
– moved the rest of news annoncements in a list
– removed the body attributes
-updated the css file
– added top adsesne unit for the main page

Moving from CVS to SVN
May 25th, 2009I finally made the move from CVS to SVN (code versioning systems).
Mainly because I improved my USJ (User JavaScript) coding and I decided to version everything so I’d have the old code as well and I just didn’t remember hot to make a new repository with CVS and I wanted to move to SVN anyhow 🙂
